Covered barn with
perches and nest pens
Our free-range hens roam around in a covered barn, with free access to the outdoors. The barn has ample natural daylight. Here, the hens sleep on perches, as they would naturally. The hens lay their eggs in nest pens in peace. There is a scratching area with litter, where the hens can scratch around to their heart’s content.
Free range with shelters
During the day, the hens can roam around freely in a fenced area. Chickens are prey animals by nature, so the run is equipped with hiding places. The run offers the hens a stimulating yet safe environment, which allows them to exhibit their natural behaviour.
